My Merienda Recipe

Everytime my mother go to Divisoria to buy supplies for our store, I always request to buy lettuce.

What you need? A Lettuce, mayonnaise w/ pickles spread and a ketsup. Clean the lettuce in a clear water and then rip it for every sleeves. Mix mayo and ketsup depends on what your taste like. Dip the lettuce into the sauce and eat it. ^^,

Enjoy!

Lettuce is a temperate annual or biennial plant most often grown as a leaf vegetable. In some countries, it is typically eaten cold and raw, in salads, hamburgers, tacos, and many other dishes. In some places, including China, lettuce is typically eaten cooked and use of the stem is as important as use of the leaf. Both the English name and the Latin name of the genus are derived from lactis, the Latin word for "milk", referring to its milky juice of the plant.

The Lettuce plant has a short stem initially (a rosette growth habit), but when it blooms the stem lengthens and branches, and it produces many flower heads that look like those of dandelions, but smaller. This is called bolting. When grown to eat, lettuce is harvested before it bolts. Lettuce is used as a food plant by the larvae of some Lepidoptera.

The Spirit of the West

For months I planned to buy an original copy of Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron even I already watch this at HBO for many times (4 or 5 times), and I finally did!!! And now I finished watching the copy of the movie and I admit, my tears can't stop falling starts when the introduction plays. When people is passing behind me, I just hide my face and simply rub my tears so they will not notice what was happening to me. xD
The best movie I ever watched. The animation, effects, soundtrack, and specially the story. Spirit shows how to stand firm even you're in the middle of darkness, from those heartless living, don't stay still, think and then move, no more turning back. Find a friend, let be in love, and remember those who pass in your life. The movie for kids and adults. The movie that will touch your heart, no exemptions... Everyone must watch this movie and he (Spirit) will help you how to stand without losing your hope for everything you do. This movie also encourage our family bonding (caring, sharing and responsibility), respect of differences and love and respect to our nature.

Spirit, a mustang born in the wild, shows his true spirit of a real leader of the Cimarron face his journey without looking back. Find his own ways to save himself, his friends and those other horses like him that they chase to became slaves by those people who just think of their own benefits. He destroy all of those two-leggeds plans before they reach Spirit's home at the West.

The narration makes the whole story alive and more elegance as Matt Damon speaks as Spirit.

The soundtrack of every scenes, by Bryan Adams, that will make Spirit to touch our hearts deeper and teach us as what and how he shows the characteristic of a real hero.

The production, directors and writers inspires the viewer to learn to stand up, never-give-up role of a leader and a hero.

Join Spirit, a wild young mustang, as he sets out on an action-packed quest against impossible odds to regain his freedom and save his homeland. In his courageous and thrilling journey across the majestic wilderness of the American frontier, Spirit form a remarkable friendship with a young Lakota brave, outwits a relentless squadron of soldiers, and falls for a beautiful paint mare named Rain. An unforgettable, take-your-breath-away tale about discovering the true hero inside of yourself, Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron is "one of the most beautiful and excited animated feature ever made" (Leonard Maltin, HotTicket).
